Leading our world-class collaboration
The School is governed by a Board of elected Partner representatives, chaired independently by Dale Turner. The Board oversees the School’s fiscal governance and strategic direction. When necessary, it consults expert advisors on areas such as training, media and communications, and legal services.
The Board is accountable to the Partners through the Annual General Meeting and operates in accordance with a governing business plan. The School’s delivery partner, Action Sustainability, prepares the business plan each year in consultation with the Board, with final approval given at the Annual General Meeting held every May.

The School is a legally binding partnership but not a legal entity.
Our Partners sign a constitution setting out the principles and practices of the School. This includes schedules outlining Partner commitments and rights, according to the type of Partnership agreed. Partners participate in the day-to-day development and management of the School through our Leadership Groups.
