Professional background and skills
Dan is currently the Chief Executive of Speedy Asset Services where he has worked for 15 years. This roles takes ownership of all the equipment rental operations across c.180 locations, all sales function across all rental categories and the test, inspection and certification business Lloyds British.
Dan is a member of the PLC Board of Speedy Asset Services and chair of the Executive Board.
Dan has also held a number of senior positions during his time with Speedy, more recently as Chief Operating Officer, Managing Director for the hire business, Contract Director and also Area Services Director.
Industry influence
Dan interacts with all of Speedy Asset Services customers across each of their chosen sectors including infrastructure, construction, housing and industrial / manufacturing.
Dan also maintains a strong social media presence with over 3,000 followers on LinkedIn and enjoys attending various networking and change management events across the industry and those adjacent.
Other relevant information
Dan places a keen interest in how product and services innovation can change and develop our industry. This includes introducing carbon reducing / zero carbon products and strategies, removing waste from the supply chain and reducing the logistical impact of the supply chain. Through collaborative working with the wider industry supply chain and the embracing of new technologies, Dan believes that we can not only undertake activity more sustainably, but safer and with greater value into communities and society along with ensuring that we are commercially sustainable.
