There is interest across the Schools’ Partners in investigating the pros and cons of HVO as a transition fuel towards net zero carbon.
Our suggested scope is to collate and combine existing research on the production and use of HVO, along with stakeholder engagement and interviews, to produce a Best Practice Guidance Document on Procuring HVO. This will support organisations in making their own decisions to manage the supply chain risks when sourcing HVO. The output will be made freely available through the School.
To achieve this we are looking for financial support – this is additional work beyond what the School has already budgeted for 2023/24 and therefore sits outside the School Partnership fee. Our plan requires 12 Partners, each contributing £4k +VAT. Should we be lucky enough to get more than 12, we will reconsider how the finances are arranged and subsequently used.
