Andrew is Group Supply & Procurement Director for Galliford Try, a leading UK Construction group and partner of the School. Operating across all the UK, a turnover of approx. £1.4 billion, with significant programmes of work in the Building, Environment, and Infrastructure sectors. Appointed in 2023 as the functional head of procurement and supply chain professionals across the group (80), and part of the UK senior leadership team, Andrew is tasked with developing the business’s strategic approach to supply chain management.

A highly dedicated professional, and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (FCIPS), with over 25 years’ experience, including high-profile leadership roles, complex multi-interface mega projects, working alongside some of the largest UK clients including HS2, National Highways, Crossrail, National Grid, DfE, DfT, MoJ, MoD and full UK water sector.

Andrew is a proven collaborator with the bravery and confidence to lead and make an impact, whilst retaining the passion to inspire and be inclusive. He is experienced in connecting many organisations, a confident presenter, and external speaker. A Director with influence and a decision maker, well-connected in the construction sector with clients, contractors, peers, and the wider supply chain. Winner of multiple awards in recent years for approach to supply chain management and a member of various groups such as CIPS, BuildUK, ICW and many client supply chain forums.

Andrew played a significant role as the lead, creating the strategic intent, achieving the agreement of all new and existing partners, and subsequently launching the SCSS on RDP for National Highways, bringing together 13 tier 1 contractors and Client. He also led the same approach for the HS2 programme connecting 7 JVs and HS2 – something which had not been achieved for many years prior to his leadership. These examples show my passion, commitment, and desire to play my part in leading the strategic direction of the School for many years ahead.
