Using digital to transform the construction process

Find out more

Digital technology has the potential to transform construction – but only if the sector is equipped with the right skills and knowledge.

Modern technologies can raise productivity, increase efficiency, improve quality and safety, reduce our sustainability impacts and help attract people to the sector. Without widespread digital adoption, the construction industry risks being marginalised and losing a generation of new talent to other sectors.

Our understanding of digitalisation in construction is more than just Building Information Modelling (BIM), or new visualisation tools, or big data analysis. Rather, it is a combination of all digital technologies that, applied appropriately, will assist all construction sector players, large and small.
